Past employment history includes over a decade of experience as a lobbyist for several national non- profit organizations in Washington, D.C., and New York, coordinator for a Congressional campaign, executive member and Chair of the Chappaqua, New York PTA, founding board member of the Foundation for Educating Children with Autism (FECA) which established a school for children with autism, assisted in the day to day running of the school for 15 years including programmatic and staff development, organized several fundraisers annually in support of the school, organized and conducted twelve annual national conferences for parents and professionals in the field. Currently President of the Foundation for Empowering Citizens with Autism (FECA), which promotes and supports programs for children and adults with autism as well as EVNY.

Married with two adult children.

Auditor for Coopers & Lybrand for six years specializing in retail and non-profit clients. Currently bookkeeper for C & A Asset Services.

Founding board member of the Foundation for Educating Children with Autism, serving as a past president and as treasurer for the past 20 years, including its transition to the newly named Foundation for Empowering Citizens with Autism. Extensively involved with the growth of programs and staff development of the school, the Devereux Millwood Learning Center, principal organizer of FECA’s national educational conferences and annual fundraisers. Serves on the parish counsel of her parish, St. Francis of Assisi.

Board member for 15 years of the Foundation for Educating Children with Autism and its second incarnation as the Foundation for Empowering Citizens for Autism. Principal fundraiser for FECA’s annual initiatives. Member of the PTA for FECA’s school, the Devereux Millwood Learning Center. Chair of the Employment Initiatives Committee of FECA, which supported the creation of EVNY.

Phillip J. Orlando

With 34 years industry experience, serves as senior vice president, senior portfolio manager for Federated’s Global Allocation Fund and is responsible for formulating Federated’s opinions about the equity market. Served as chief investment officer and senior portfolio manager at Value Line and First Capital Advisors. Appears on a regular basis on a wide range of televised business programs including CNBC’s “Squawk Box”, “Closing Bell” and the “Nightly Business Report”, as well as The Wall Street Journal and The New York Times among others.

Board member for 15 years of the Foundation for Educating Children with Autism and the newly named Foundation for Empowering Citizens with Autism and a founding member of the EVNY Board.
