EVNY’s first venture, EV Gifts, was launched November 7th, 2015 at the enormously popular Craft and Gift Fair at the Robert E. Bell Middle School in Chappaqua. It proved to be a spectacular success as the candles made by EVNY’s first employees, Max and Brett, were sold with charming salesmanship by Brian and Matt!
Since that first sale EV Gifts has attended 14 sales, selling over 750 candles at those sales. EV Gifts has also provided beautiful favors for a wedding, Girl Scout Gala and private parties. We have teamed up with Special Moms Network and our candles are now available to order online.
The candle business provides a challenge to test both the interests and abilities of employees for this kind of endeavor. It is a particularly rewarding opportunity for direct interaction with a community that has long supported but rarely has the chance to witness firsthand the talents and particular charm of our young people.
Want to attend an EVNY sale and meet some of our fantastic salespeople? Please see our list of sales, and thank you for your support.
Frosty Day Celebration
Despite a cold and rainy day, Armonk residents turned out for the town-wide Frosty Day celebration which included a holiday boutique at St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church. Our EVNY holiday candles continued to sell well thanks to the beautiful packaging by our production crew led by Brett Schaffran and the charming presentation by our professional salesmen, Brian Kirk and Matt Koch.
Bedford Holiday Fair
Another successful event! This was a particularly wonderful event as our booth was in a first grade classroom and all the kids who are normally there came by shrieking with delight to see the room transformed. Our professional salesman, John DeCaprio and Brian Kirk, did a great job as they continue to charm fair goers.
